We have been very lucky as Le Vesinet has supplied two washable masks to all residents and we received ours a few weeks ago.
The rules with masks are they have to be worn on all public transport and any shops which insist. I managed to get a hair cut last week but as he is British he did not care about wearing a mask! A lot of people just wear the masks generally but then walk right past you and ignore any social distancing.
There is a local cafe which has been selling afternoon cakes and tea at the weekends to keep their business going so we have treated ourselves a few times. Quite delicious if a little pricey!
We also like to help out keeping the local pizza delivery shop in business!!😃
Ruby has been loving the fact the forest is now open. We have been going out there most days especially as the weather has been glorious. Although you have to time your visit right as it can get quite busy now with other dog walkers, cyclists and runners.
The local park still has notices being out of bounds yet EVERYONE is there these days - the rubbish left recently after one weekend was appalling. The white swans have had 6 babies but the black one still sits on her nest which I suspect is empty, poor thing. Let's hope these cygnets last longer than last years one did.
Matt has been busy clearing the garden in preparation for our move in July. We also had friends over last weekend which was such a pleasure. Being able to interact with people in person over a relaxing glass of champagne was such a treat.
Matt clearing away Sandy - not long until she is completely gone!
We received this lovely card from Ruby's dog walker, Charles. He is moving away so will no longer be able to walk her. She will be sad as she ADORED him. 😭
