Ice Sculpture in Canmore

Yet more skiing pictures! Matt and I spent two days skiing last week and had a fantastic time as the snow was perfect. We stayed in a lovely hotel in Canmore and had some great meals.
Then Matt went back to the UK (again!!!) on Monday for meetings so Emma and I went skiing for three days. The first two days we had unbelievable blue skies though the snow was not quite as amazing from a few days earlier. The last day skiing it was overcast and lightly snowing and I seemed to forget how to ski! Had a mild tantrum but managed to find my feet on the last run. We skied at Sunshine Village and it was empty of people. Most of the time we had runs to ourselves which is unheard of. I guess that's the benefit of mid-week skiing.
We stayed in a great condo for next to nothing and enjoyed a few glasses of wine to reward ourselves for just being away from Ralston. We went into Canmore for a few hours and discovered some Ice Sculptures next to the quilting shop. They were not the best as melting quickly but nice to see.
Back to work next week for me and Matt returns home on Monday. The weather has taken another cold turn and tonight we have a severe wind chill warning meaning that it will be -38c. I think I will stay in this weekend!!!
