Update...

Unfortunately there is a problem with our blog website and at the moment we are unable to upload any pictures!  As soon as this is rectified we will update with pictures.

We spent Christmas day here in Ralston and had a delicious steak with dauphinoise potatoes for lunch - different, but the steak here in Canada is amazing.  We went up to Canmore on Boxing Day and stayed in a condo which accepted pets so the cats came with us - not too happy about that but they coped ok.

We skied at Sunshine Village which was a few miles from Canmore and met up with friends there too.  Matt managed more runs in the day than me as I found it all rather exhausting (!) but we both had a great time.
We also did a walk to some frozen waterfalls (Johnston Canyon) which was very beautiful and our tour guide was really informative.  On New Years Eve we did snow shoeing which was really hard work and very very cold.  And I mean really cold!!!!  Our guide supplied us with hot chocolate which was much appreciated.  We did the snow shoeing at Marble Canyon which is in British Columbia and there had been a fire there in 2003 and the evidence was still very clear to see.

On New Years evening we went to our friend Lyndsay and Paul's condo for drinks and to see in the New Year with some champagne.

Then back to Ralston with Matt back at work and I am applying for jobs (again) so watch this space!
